This workshop will assist health professionals (Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists) to understand the key elements required for writing a report or completing an Assistive Technology form, when working in the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
The workshop will cover:
- The principles of a good clinical report for the NDIA for Assistive Technology
- Understanding the R&N criteria and how to ensure this is addressed in your report
- Common assumptions made in writing reports for the NDIA
The workshop will be delivered by Angela Yee from the Uniting Local Area Coordination program. Angela is a qualified Occupational Therapist with a Masters on Health Science (Developmental Disability). The workshop content has been developed based the many reports which the LAC program has observed the Agency to approve.
