We are excited to welcome inspiring Keynote Speakers:

Dr Fi Graham 

As an Occupational Therapist and Researcher from the University of Otago, New Zealand with extensive experience in both clinical practice and academic research, Dr Graham specialises in coaching approaches to enhance client outcomes and promote self-efficacy. In her keynote presentation, “Therapist Experiences and Processes of Learning to Coach,” Dr. Graham will share insights from her research on the evolution of professional identity and skill development among occupational therapists embracing coaching frameworks.

Professor Iona Novak

Professor Iona Novak is a world-renowned researcher, clinician and thought leader in the field of childhood disability. She has dedicated her career to transforming rehabilitation practices through evidence-based approaches and implementation science. She is passionate about family-centered care and she champions the integration of research findings into every day clinical practice. Iona will be presenting her Keynote speech, “The Future of Disability Therapy”. 

Associate Professor Shane Clifton 

Associate Professor Shane Clifton is the Director of the Centre for Disability Research and Policy at the University of Sydney. As a quadriplegic (C5 incomplete), Shane brings invaluable lived experience to his teaching on ethics and disability studies. He also serves as President of the Board of Spinal Cord Injuries Australia and a board member of The Disability Trust. Shane’s research focuses on the flourishing of people with disability, addressing ableism, and promoting disability leadership and human rights.
