Kim Bulkeley – Occupational Therapist
Kim has worked as an occupational therapist in community disability teams, management roles, disability policy and academia for over 30 years. Kim is currently in an academic role with the University of Sydney, teaching undergraduate and post graduate students in the Faculty of Health Sciences. Kim’s research areas focus around increasing access to allied health services for rural and remote communities with a particular emphasis on Aboriginal community members and people with a disability.
As a long standing member of Disability SPOT, she has seen many changes in the disability sector and is enthusiastic about the way SPOT has supported members throughout this journey. Kim is embracing the current time of change and the opportunities to expand the role of SPOT as a member driven organisation that will enhance the quality of therapy services for people with a disability.
